Job Description:
As an Aerial Sensor Operator with Keystone Aerial Surveys, Inc. the applicant will be exposed to an array of disciplines working with the latest technologies in the industry.
The candidate will be required to learn and understand basic principles of aerial photography and photogrammetry including LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging), airborne GPS and inertial navigation systems.
In addition to successful operation of airborne systems, the applicant will be required to perform other duties including, but not limited to, flight planning and quality control of film and digital imagery.
Position Requirements: Entry Level (0 - 2 years of experience)
Prior experience in Aerial Photography, Digital Photography, GIS / Remote Sensing, or Land Surveying is a plus but not required.
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Preferred: College degree in Photography, Geography, Geology or any related field.
General Position Requirements
- Have the ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
- Sit routinely for extended periods of time in small aircraft.
- Capable of learning advanced software programs.
- Be highly motivated and show strong attention to details.
- Deployments on short notice up to 4 weeks or more at a time are common.
- Willing to relocate to within a one hour drive of the hiring office.
- Possess or be capable of obtaining a passport.
- Possess a valid Driver's License.
