SCANNING ROOM
- As digital imagery becomes more popular,
the need for scanning aerial photos is at an all time high. In
order to meet current and future needs for high quality scanning,
Keystone has recently completed the construction of a new scanning
facility.

Our custom designed scanning area consists of
a class 10,000 clean room using a unique bag centered filtration
system. Beyond this area is a class 1000 inner clean room using
HEPA filtration of all incoming air. Both rooms maintain positive
air pressure to prevent airborne particles from entering through
doorway openings. All ceilings, lights and walls are made to
be dust resistant and easy to keep clean.

Working temperature is kept
optimum by a high efficiency heat pump with a separate control
in each room. The system provides for humidity control to prevent
static charges and thereby avoid the attraction of dust particles.
The rooms are large enough to allow for the addition of several
graphic and cartographic scanners in the future.
